Giving

We love because he first loved us.

End of Year Financial Update

Please take a few moments to get caught up on our financial provision and needs as we head into 2025.

As we come to the end of 2024 my heart is so grateful for all the ways the Lord has provided for us. When we began evening prayer in October of 2023 we had enough in start up funds to support a modest salary for me, our monthly rent, and some basic supplies. When we launched Sunday services in April the Lord continued to provide. During that time we received several other one time gifts from individuals and churches that has sustained us while we’ve also grown in giving from within. As we headed into the fall, started a catechism class, and held our first baptism, it became increasingly evident that we were becoming a church! The feeling of wondering if we’re going to make it week to week has dissipated as we now have a solid core group of around 30 adults and kids.. I couldn’t be more thrilled!

A few months back we decided to hire a bookkeeper to help oversee our finances. The last few months we have worked hard to create a budget and a clearer picture of our current giving and financial needs heading into 2025. Thankfully we have a very simple operating budget with low rent and low expenses.

As you can see from the proposed monthly budget and the current monthly giving we are around $2,500 short to make our budget each month. I know that seems like a lot, but when I look at how far we’ve come I’m incredibly encouraged! With over a third of our budget coming from inside giving we’re doing well for a church plant of our size one year in. As we come to the end of the year I’m asking two things.

Monthly Giving: To our regular members please consider tithing or giving monthly to Shalom! To our friends and supporting churches, we would also greatly appreciate your monthly support!
Even $50 or $100 a month for 2025 would make a huge difference!
Year End Giving: To our regular members and outside supporters please consider giving to our year end eund. We hope to raise $12,000 by the end of the calendar year to support our general budget.
All gifts are tax deductible!

If we're able to raise our monthly support by $1500 and raise the $12,000 in the year end gift
we would be able to make the shortfall for 2025!

Thank you so much for your support! If you have any questions please feel free to email or call anytime.

Have questions or need help?

We'd love to hear from you.

Giving is a response of worship as we acknowledge that everything we have is a gift from God. Just like we love because he first loved us, we give because he first gave to us. As a new church plant, Shalom Anglican is supported by those who consider Shalom their home church and others who desire to support our work. We're dependent upon both inside and outside giving at this beginning stage of our church. We're thankful for your support. Feel free to reach out with any questions you may have.
