All Saints Day - Memento Mori

This past Sunday we observed one of the seven principal feast days of the church... All Saints Day. Saturday 11/1 was All Saints Day but our liturgy on Sunday 11/2, which was All Souls Day, reflected both. The phrase, "Memento Mori" has become associated with All Saints Day over the years and it means, "Remember you must die." And so our message was focused on remembering the saints as well as the brevity of our own lives and being faced with how we will live them.
